Use a 10mm socket and ratchet, remove the negative battery terminal.
Repeat the same procedure for the positive battery terminal.
Remove the battery from the engine compartment.
Locate the rubber boot behind the head light housing.
Remove the boot.
Behind the boot there should be a plastic ring holding the light bulb in place. Rotate the ring counter clockwise to unlatch the bulb from the housing.
Put on your Latex glove and remove the bulb from the housing by pulling it straight back.
Cut four wires approximately 2′ each.
Install and crimp the flat-pin connector at one end of the 16 gauge wire.
Install and crimp the female connector to the other end of the 16 guage wire.
* Repeat Steps 10-11 for all four wires.
After completing Steps 10-11, your wires should look like this.
Locate the existing head light bulb socket.
Insert the wires completed in Steps 10-11 into each of the head light socket. Make sure the negative wire is inserted into the middle slot. The two outer slots are for your High and Low beam.
Use electrical tape to secure and seal the wires into place.
Slide the plastic ring through the HID bulb.
Slide the bulb back into the head light housing and rotate the plastic ring clockwise to secure the bulb into place.
Use the provided double-sided tape, attach the mounting bracket to the ballast.
Using a 1/8″ drill bit, drill a small hole into the fender wall. Then using a Phillips screwdriver and 3/4″ screw, mount the ballast into place.
Repeat this procedure for the other side of the car.
Connect the wire harness to the 16 gauge wires leading from the head light socket. Plug the wire harness into the ballast and tape away any exposed wires.
Plug the wires leading from the HID bulb to the ballast.
Use wire ties to secure any extra wiring. Tuck away the loose wires behind the ballast.
Inspect the installation for any remaining exposed wires.
Turn the head lights on and make sure everything is working.
Should you need to adjust the aiming of the head lights. Park your car in front of a wall or garage and use an Allen wrench to adjust the vertical adjusters.
